Temporary Lashes FAQ
Q. Will the lashes harm my own lashes?
A. No. When false eyelashes are (1) applied correctly with the proper adhesive and (2) removed safely and gently, there is no harm done to your own lashes.
Q. How long does it take to apply the lashes and what is the process?
A. The whole process typically takes about 15 minutes. The technician will first allow you to pick the style of lashes you would like to use. Then, they will have you lay down comfortably and hold the false lashes to your lash line to decide whether or not they need to trim any length off so the lashes perfectly fit your eye shape. The lash glue is applied to the false lashes and then the lashes are placed onto your own lashes right at the lash line for a natural look. The lashes are held there for a few seconds while the glue adheres, and then repeated on the other eye.
Q. Do you have different style lashes to choose from?
A. Yes! We have all different styles to choose from. This way you can go as natural or dramatic as you would like, with different lengths and thicknesses.
Q. How long do the temporary lashes last for?
A. Our temporary lashes can last anywhere from 1-4 days. Lash staying power will also depend on how careful you are with them after application. We do not guarantee any length of time your false lashes will stay on for.
Q. Should I apply my makeup before or after getting my lashes done?
A. This is completely up to you and what works best with your schedule. Applying mascara before your appointment is also optional. Some mascaras tend to clump your lashes together making it difficult to blend the false lashes. You may curl your lashes prior to your appointment if you wish (be careful of course!)
Q. How do I take off my temporary lashes?
A. The key to removing the false lashes is taking your time! Soak a cotton pad or cotton ball in either make up remover or an oil such as coconut oil, olive oil, etc. Place the soaked cotton pad or ball onto your lashes and hold it there for about 30 seconds. Gently rub the cotton pad or ball back and forth. Grab the false lashes by the outer corner and slowly peel the strip away from your real lashes. If you feel ANY pinching or resistance apply more oil or makeup remover and wait a little longer before trying again.
