Q. How long do I have to stay under the LED Light?
A. Each session is a half hour. The light will automatically shut off when your session has ended.
Q. How do I use the LED Light Therapy?
A. You lay comfortably on our massage table, with your head on a pillow, under our LED Light which is placed a few inches from your face. Eye protection must be worn.
Q. How do I know which color light to use?

Q. How often do I have to use LED Light Therapy to see results?
A. Everyone reacts differently, depending on their age and the condition of their skin. There are a few immediate changes to the skin, such as cleaner, brighter and a tighter feeling. Recommended therapy schedules are 3-4 days per week, for 4-6 weeks. After the initial treatment schedule it is recommended to continue 1-2 days per week.
Q. Is LED Light Therapy safe?
A. There’s absolutely no pain or discomfort during treatment, no medical risk, and no recovery time. Why? Unlike many other treatments – like IPL (Intense Pulsed Light laser), microdermabrasion and chemical peels – there is no initial ‘controlled damage’ done to your skin. The History of LED Light Therapy
The Greeks first recorded the healing properties of light in 1500BC, when they suggested that exposure to light was essential for the restoration of health. In the 19th Century, a Nobel Prize was awarded to Dr. Niels Finsen, a Danish Physician who demonstrated the beneficial effects of various wavelengths in the treatment of tuberculosis. This same technology has proven to be effective in the fields of dermatology, neurology and physiotherapy. Forty years of independent research have shown that Light Therapy has powerful therapeutic benefits to living tissue. In the 1960s in Europe it was noted that certain single wavelengths had excellent therapeutic effect on treatment tissues through a process called photo-stimulation. One example is the practice of “light-treating” babies for jaundice, a common condition of newborns. Researchers also noted that it stimulated skin tissue to regenerate and improve the appearance of the skin. Circulation is increased and fibroblastic activity, collagen production and healing are promoted. This effect has produced very positive results in the treatment of rosacea, anti-aging and sun damage.
In space, the weightless environment slows cellular growth, in part because it depends on gravity. NASA research examined the use of light to penetrate deep into tissues and found it stimulated cell growth and promoted healing in zero-G environments.
